the show last night in rockwall was very very cool. the icehouse is a really great place, and the people who own it are some of the nicest people any of us have ever met. the other bands were amazing...everyone be sure to check out the roosevelts. and to all of you people who somehow knew who we were in advance, thank you so much for coming! we will be back at the icehouse on saturday, february 28, so be there with friends! have a great week everyone.

as many of you know, sadbert was forced to cancel the show at sidecar last thursday. due to some misfortunate events lauren sanders, producer of sadbert's new and first music video, will be playing lead guitar for justin at shows for the next 4 to 6 weeks. david, the drummer of the band, was also injured but should recover by the next show. everybody stop by the guestbook and thank lauren for helping us out and for making such an awesome video. also show your love for the new years veterans (justin and david). the shows will go on! so don't miss a one.

cafe revolucion in san antonio was a blast! we want to thank the few people who knew who we were that came as well as those who didn't know us, but watched us anyways. the show started at about 5 pm and ran until about midnight. constant good music all night long! we met some good bands and a lot of awesome people. i hope soon we can visit again. until next time friends!

hey everyone! we hope you're all having a good week. we've spent the last few days ordering more cds, shirts, pins and hats which can be found and purchased in the merch section of the website, or at any of our shows. we are in the process of booking some stuff in january at javajazz, the engine room, and in college station, so please keep checking back for those! also, something really fun is in the works as we speak! a friend of ours is editing a music video for our song "my made up mind." the video will be available online within the week, so keep checking back!

we played our first out of town show in groves last night, and the people we met were awesome, the crowd was more than amazing, and we had the best time. we couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to spread our music to people who haven't been exposed to it before. we give special thanks to barely blind (an awesome band from groves) and dane's family for the awesome hospitality. don't miss our upcoming shows at javajazz, fat cat's (formerly mary janes), and cafe revloucion in san antonio! check the shows section for more information.

what's up everyone! i'm sorry it has taken so long to update the site. we are working on taking new pictures and getting a new website in the works. i hope all of you can come out to javajazz on the 29th! the show is going to be one of the biggest we've ever a played. a tip for everyone who did not order a ticket online: i suggest that you show up at around 6:15 at javajazz in order to buy a ticket and come see us play - there might be a long line. we'll all be there early to hang out with everyone and all that good stuff. thanks to you all! i hope to see everyone there and have a great thanksgiving!

good news! sadbert won first place in the battle of the bands at numbers yesterday! we want to thank all of the people who came out to support us, we owe you big. we will prepare you now...we will be promoting the nov. 29 show with the early november heavy duty, so if you'd like to help feel free to make some flyers and distribute them everywhere. goodbye for now and thanks once more!

sadbert was chosen to play at numbers night club in a local battle of the bands contest! here's the deal: we are pre-selling tickets for $12, and the more tickets we sell, the better time slot we get, and the better time slot we have, the better prizes we win! we had lots of support for the ernie ball battle of the bands and we will need it one more time! the judges will be looking for good crowd response, so please come out and show some love! right now we are brainstorming ideas on how to get the tickets out to all of you people! so if any of you have any good ideas let us know! you can buy tickets here online. there are 2500 available tickets for all 20 bands to sell so numbers will be packed! don't miss this show! you will be sad. directions here.

ooh yes! it is time for some updated news...we're sorry that it took this long, it's ridiculous. we are working on some out of town shows for november. the show at the icehouse in dallas that was originally booked for november 1 has been moved to a later date. when we get that date we will post it immediatly, and that's a promise! we're also working on a show in college station for november 8 with skylar blue, so watch for that as well! the sadbert street team is progressing very nicely, so the website should be up by next weekend...hopefully. and right now, i'm feeling very grateful for everything that you wonderful people have done for us over the last year and a half, so thanks everyone so much! keep the word spreading, and have a good week!

what's up guys! we've got statistics for you all. first of all, voting ends today and most likely we will have finished in 7th place. although we didn't win, we were very pleased with the outcome and we want to thank everyone who voted and helped spread the word. next year we will definitely enter the contest again in hopes to be in the top 5. also our songs walking backwards and my made up mind are both in the top 10 most frequently played songs in texas on mp3.com! thank you all so so much! and just a reminder...we have shows! hope to see you all there.

sadbert has made it to the top 10 out of 2600 other bands nationwide in the ernieball battle of the bands 7 thanks to everyone who has voted! currently we are 7th place. however, in order to win anything at all u have to be 5th or higher. so i encourage everyone to vote, ask your friends to vote, and ask your friends' friends to vote! we need all that we can get! so please vote vote vote! by the way the voting ends on september 3rd. show sadbert your love! oh and in case u weren't sure, there's a large white link at the very bottom of the page--you can't miss it--that's where you go to vote.

happy fourth of july everyone! and we'd like to thank everyone who was able to make it to javajazz tonight, we had a good time and hope you did as well! we set up a couple of shows at javajazz, one of them with mark needs a chick on august 15th, and another on september 20th. and let's not forget about next friday at fuel, in humble. we need all sorts of support out there, so you guys do all that you can. new mp3's will be up sometime next week, so keep checking! we love you all! thanks for everything! oh and keep the ernieball votes coming, each one counts! see ya friday.

hey what's up everyone. sadbert has been recording 3 new songs in the studio lately - check out the pics (finally). we've been to the studio 3 times and i think it'll take one more visit just to finish up these 3 songs. thanks to sound arts recording studio and brian, the sound engineer, the songs are going to be badass. we are not sure what we will do with them yet. we definately plan on sending them out to record labels, but as for releasing them to the public - we haven't decided. we'll probably replace the version of my made up mind that we recorded on a computer with the one from the studio. we're thinking about recording 4 or 5 more songs later on then releasing all of them on one cd - nothing is for sure though. about june 20 at javajazz - we will not be able to play that night even though it says that on the javajazz website..so don't go there looking for us! our next show is july 4. wish us luck in being selected to play at warped tour as well! thanks for your time and interest.

the show tonight at javajazz was amazing! the crowd was pleasantly crazy! this was definately one of the better shows. thanks to all the people who came out to see us, and to all the people that stayed til 10 30 to see us play. keep checking the site for more updates on shows and other happenings. once we get things together i'll send out another newsletter! until next time!

sound arts recording studio was very successful, however we are not finished with our work. we still have some vocals and mixing to do, in which will hopefully be completed may 27! the songs sound really good so far, the finished project will be awesome.

sound arts recording studio was cancelled today. the sound engineer pulled a muscle in his back and couldn't even get out of his bed. so hopefully he'll be fine by may 18 - when we rescheduled. so hopefully we'll have some awesome songs coming your way asap!

javajazz last night was splendid! we couldn't have asked for better bands and a better audience, it was all good. thanks to Dave at javajazz for booking the show, and much thanks to everyone who showed up. we are taking off for a few weeks to let casey's medical situation clear up, then we will be back at the engine room and javajazz in april. can't wait to see you all then!
